Sponsors Rally as Danielle Goldstein Prepares to Compete for Israel at 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games
Wellington, FL (July 22, 2014)– International show jumping’s Danielle Goldstein has hit a number of milestones in 2014, and now she adds yet another to the list with her qualification to compete at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games for Israel. A dual citizen of both the United States and Israel, Goldstein will travel to Normandy, France in August to ride for her country against the best horses and riders in the world.
Goldstein has been driven in her goal to be the first female to ride for Israel on an Olympic team, and competing at the World Equestrian Games is a major step towards achieving that goal. With the success of qualifying now in her rearview mirror, she realizes that the road to the World Equestrian Games is far from over. She and her horses have been competing in Canada on the prestigious Spruce Meadows and Thunderbird circuits, keeping the horses at their peak and preparing for the trip to France.
Goldstein, who rides out of her own Starwyn Farms, is backed by a team of sponsors and supporters that she knows make her success possible. “This truly is a team effort, and everything has to work together, from vets and farriers, proper equipment, mentors, grooms, feed, and attire. There is no detail that can be overlooked, and I am forever grateful to my team of professionals at Starwyn who look after my horses and make sure they are in top form, and to my team of sponsors, including CWD saddles, Choice of Champions International, Neue Schule bits, Draper Equine Therapy, ThinLine, GPA helmets, Charles Ancona riding jackets, and 2kGrey riding pants.”
The Wellington, Florida based equestrian has been very active on the international scene: serving as chef d’equipe on the Team Gold medal winning Israeli show jumping squad at the 2013 Maccabiah Games; kicking off a successful season at the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival with a win at the $10,000 Welcome Stake Grand Prix; and her appearance on the first-ever team representing Israel in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup at Wellington’s Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
In addition to her active international competitive career, the dynamic rider and trainer also continues to oversee operations at her Starwyn Farms facility, draw support and contribute to a growing equestrian community in Israel, and train and teach horses and riders all over the world.
