Neue Schule, the Official Bit of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), is ringing in the spring season by sponsoring the Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) Spring Series. In addition to supporting the open Hunter Division throughout several weeks of the series, Neue Schule will also be presenting the spring season’s first $10,000 Open Stakes Class on April 7, 2016.
The five-week show series, which runs from April 6, 2016 – May 15, 2016, is held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, Florida, where the renowned Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) recently concluded. Throughout the spring season, Hunter/Jumper riders of all levels will compete for circuit championship titles and prizes.
Neue Schule is proud to be the first to welcome the $10,000 Open Stakes Class, expanding its support throughout both the Hunter and Jumper rings. Riders who compete in the Open Stakes, which is featured each week throughout the ESP Spring Series, accumulate points for a shot at winning the ESP Spring Rider Challenge.
As a recent sponsor of the Open Hunter Division at the Equestrian Sport Productions’ Holiday Series, Neue Schule is excited to present another open hunter division on the show grounds this spring. The Neue Schule sponsored divisions are open to all ages, and include the ESP Open Hunter Section 3’ and the ESP Open Hunter Section 3’3”. Both divisions will name an overall Champion and Reserve Champion.
As the Official Bit of the USEF, Neue Schule has always prioritized the importance of supporting riders and competitions such as the ESP Spring Series, the ESP Holiday Series, and the Junior Jumper division at the historic Pennsylvania National Horse Show. In addition to its reputation as a noble contributor to the Hunter/Jumper community, Neue Schule is known for its quality bits and innovative manufacturing techniques. Developing each bit with a distinct, scientific approach, Neue Schule’s bits provide the best opportunity for effective communication between horse and rider. Each bit is designed with the horse’s comfort in mind, setting them up for success in the show ring. Neue Schule bits are made for a variety of disciplines, including hunters, jumpers, ponies, and dressage. Neue Schule bits emphasize the horse’s needs, and allow for maximum comfort.
Mette Larsen, President and Founder of Metlar Premium Performance Saddlery, the U.S. and Canadian distributor of Neue Schule, says, “We are honored to support the horses and riders competing in the ESP Spring Series, and to introduce them to Neue Schule bits, especially our new line of Hunter D bits. The ESP Spring series is the perfect place for our products, as they are designed to help hunter and jumper riders have a smoother and more efficient round, with better horse and rider communication.”
Neue Schule also recently honored exceptional riders at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival with the Neue Schule Best Hands Award, recognizing riders who had particularly effective communication with their horses and demonstrated accurate hand aids.
As the Official Bit of the USEF, Neue Schule is always happy to sponsor competitions and show series, understanding the true value in supporting them to further the sport. The company is looking forward to participating in the 2016 ESP Spring Series and seeing the talented horses and riders it brings.
