Official Bit of the USEF Enters the Hunter Ring: Neue Schule Introduces Line of American Hunter Horse D Bits

“Neue Schule is excited to now bring the quality and comfort of Neue Schule bits to the Hunter ring,” announced Mette Larsen, president and founder of Metlar Premium Performance Saddlery, the United States distributer of Neue Schule bits. “Each Neue Schule bit is crafted with the horse’s comfort and well-being in mind. Our new line of D Bits, geared to the American Hunter Horse, will be no different. We look forward to more hunters having better trips with our new bits.”

As the Official Bit of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), Neue Schule once again lived up to its top-notch reputation with the introduction of the new D Bits. The D Bits are an elegant expression of respect for the classic Hunter D Style, while using advancements like Neue Schule’s patented Salox Gold® metal to create more comfortable and effective materials for horses to hold in their mouths. Neue Schule bits allow greater thermal conductivity for immediate adjustment to a horse’s mouth temperature.

The new D Bit line is tailored to meet the highest standards of the American hunter and jumper market, and will be available in five trusted Neue Schule mouthpiece types— Tranz (angled lozenge), Demi Anky (ergonomic single joint), Turtle Top (double-jointed shell-shape link), Verbindend (ergonomic tongue channel), and Waterford (optimum directional control).

As a proud supporter of the hunter/jumper horse industry, Neue Schule is sponsoring the Equestrian Sport Production Holiday Series, which runs November 25 to January 13 in Wellington, Florida. Neue Schule is kicked off the Holiday Series by sponsoring the Holiday and Horses ESP Open Hunter 3’ and ESP Open Hunter 3’3” sections. Both were open to riders of all ages and will name overall Champions and Reserve Champions. The seven-show Holiday series concludes on January 13 with the ESP Holiday Circuit Finale. Before heading south for the winter, Neue Schule was also the title sponsor of the Junior Jumper Championships at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in October.

Outside of the hunter/jumper world, Neue Schule can be found at the 2016 Adequan Global Dressage Festival on January 13- April 2 in Wellington. The company is a returning sponsor, and will once again present the Neue Schule Best Hands Award to riders who demonstrate effective and soft hands while competing throughout the Adequan Global Dressage Festival show series.
