Neue Schule Ambassadors Put United States in FEI World Dressage Rankings Top Ten— Twice

Neue Schule Ambassadors Put United States in FEI World Dressage Rankings Top Ten Twice

Riverhead, NY (June 8, 2015) Its double success for the United States and for Metlar Premium Performance Saddlery, the North American distributer of the innovative Neue Schule bits. Dressage icons Steffen Peters and Laura Graves have achieved what no Americans are believed to have achieved for at least six years they put two United States combinations in the FEI World Individual Dressage Rankings top ten. Neue Schule Ambassadors Peters, with Legolas 92, and Graves, with Verdades, are ranked nine and ten, respectively, in the world rankings as of May 31, 2015.

Every one of my horses now goes in Neue Schule, comments Graves, who also ranked tenth in the FEI World Dressage Rankings last month. Changing to Neue Schule bits was a turning point in my training. The difference in these bits is that they are so well engineered and effective that everyone Adult Amateurs, Young Riders, and professionals can feel the difference. There are many variations and options so the fit is just right. The dedication and value that Neue Schule puts into its bits is mirrored in the work that Graves put into bringing Verdades, a thirteen-year old KWPN gelding (Florett AS-Liwilarda, Goya), up from a six-year-old to an international dressage super star. As the duo trains for the 2015 Pan American Games, Verdades well-being is, as usual, forefront in Gravess mind. If your horse isnt happy then its a real struggle to get through a test, she explains. The comfort, effectiveness, and detailed design of Neue Schule bits helps Graves create a harmonious partnership with her horse.

Steffen Peters, who also proudly rides with Neue Schule, moved up from the eleventh slot to the ninth in the recent FEI World Rankings. Peters and Legolas 92, a thirteen-year-old Westfalen gelding owned by Four Winds Farm LLC, have ridden to success around the world in Neue Schule bits from the Winter Equestrian Games in Normandy, France (fourth place in team competition) to the 2015 Reem Acra FEI World Cup Dressage Finals (third place individually). Peters was named to the Big Tour for the 2015 Dressage Pan American Games European CDI Observation Event Squad on both Legolas 92 and Rosamunde, a 2007 Rheinlander mare also owned by Four Winds Farm. He completed the last show of the Observation Event Squad tour with a first place in the CDI4* Grand Prix on Rosamunde, scoring 74.560 percent.

Mette Larsen, president and founder of Metlar, is proud to congratulate Peters and Graves and contribute to their success through Neue Schule bits. Horses deserve the very best we have to offer them, states Larsen. Horses should feel good, want to perform, and be happy in their work. Neue Schule is dedicated to offering the kindest, most effective communication tools on the market. We are thrilled to congratulate Peters and Graves on this huge achievement!

As Peters and Graves can attest to, achieving harmony with horses through comfortable and effective bits can lead to victory in the show ring. Now that these Neue Schule Ambassadors have defined themselves as two of the top ten dressage riders in the world, they seem to be in ideal form to ride into the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada, in July.
